My Favorite Actor......

Many people choose their favorite actor by their looks instead of how well they can act.....

Unicorn.....

The unicorn is a legendary animal. It is usually portrayed as a slender, white horse with a spiraling horn on its forehead, although its appearance and behavior differs, depending on the location. In the west it was usually considered wild and untamable, there it is usually depicted as a goat-like creature, with cloven hooves and a beard.

The word "unicorn" is based on the Hebrew word re'em ("horn"), in early versions of the Old Testament translated as "monokeros", meaning "one horn", which became "unicorn" in English. The creature is possibly based on the rhinoceros or the narwhal, a marine creature with one horn.

A medieval story tells of the capture of a unicorn by a maiden. The unicorn was far too fast and wild for the man that was hunting him. He could only be tamed by a maiden who sat lonely underneath a tree in the woods. Attracted by the scent of purity he would lay his head on her lap and she would rock him to sleep. Then she would cut of his horn, and leave him for the hunter and his dogs.

I wonder how many people now days had actually tried to either capture an unicorn or even look for it.

Babe, It took me longer than I wanted to find description and a picture that I actually like for this creature. Now that I'm finish with this entry I will now begin to look for my next mythical creature. You know finding the "right" guy is much, much harder than finding an unicorn, all it takes is to have a maiden to sit under a tree then the unicorn will show up. For a girl to find Mr. Right takes more than sitting down by the tree....Well, I found my Mr. Right by sitting on the stairs, I guess that works too. I love you Aaron and I couldn't be any happier.

Pegasus.........

Pegasus, the winged horse, was born from the blood of Medusa, the Gorgon, after Perseus cut off her head. Poseidon was his father. With the help of Athene and Poseidon, Pegasus was captured by Bellerophon to aid in the attack on the Chimaera, which was a fire-breathing she-goat with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail. Once Bellerophon killed the Chimaera, he became too overconfident and tried to fly Pegasus to Olympus. He didn't make it, and fell to the earth. Pegasus did make it, and Zeus captured him for himself to carry his thunderbolts. He is sheltered in the heavenly stalls of Olympus.

As random as this topic is, no, I did not run out of topics to talk about on my site. What I wanted to do is to introduce a new mythical creature everyday or at least every other day so that I could entertain both myself and the readers.

Aaron my love, I know you like working at night but staying at work until three or four every night is not very good for you. Well, just don't over work your body and put your health at risk, you are going to need both of those when I see you.
